Estimator

Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to develop accurate estimates

Prepare costings across materials, labour, equipment, and overheads

Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing

Collaborate with workshop managers, project managers, and engineers to ensure technical accuracy

Prepare detailed tender submissions, including cost breakdowns and timelines

Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and support competitive proposals

Continuously improve estimating practices through industry knowledge and market insights

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)

Proven experience estimating manufactured electrical equipment switchboards, MCCs, DBs, substations)

Exposure to mining, tunnelling, or heavy industry (preferred)
