Position Overview
The exchange planner is responsible for the planning and administration associated with the OEM Machine Shop and Welding areas. Responsibilities include review of salvage velocity, salvage queue management, and inventory management for salvage consumables. They are accountable for supporting Internal Fab WO Opening, salvage scheduling, customer required dates, and work instructions. Success is measured by RFA conversions, salvage lead time, customer demand fulfillment, WIP administration, and month plan creation. They are also responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and collaborating with other production planners in creative problem solving for the value stream.
