Contract: Up to 5 Months

Under the supervision of the Facility Supervisor, the successful applicants will perform maintenance and other facility operational duties as required in the safe operation and effective delivery of services pertaining to the arena, community centre and assigned facilities.

Accountabilities:
Responsible for the delivery of services including the safe and efficient operation of the arena/community centre facilities and equipment

Inspect and monitor ice surface and ice conditions, rink boards, rink glass and spectator safety netting and other rink components

Perform ice maintenance and ice installation

Perform detailed caretaking and maintenance functions of assigned facilities including minor building, mechanical and equipment repairs

Perform work related to set-up, dismantling and clean-up of facility for permitted functions/activities
