Position ObjectivesPlan and optimise DWDM and optical transport network capacity, covering wavelength planning, optical path design, equipment capacity, protection, diversity, and implementation-ready transport documentation.
Job Description and Responsibilities- Prepare DWDM/optical transport plans for backbone, metro, and inter-site connectivity requirements.
- Translate traffic demand, service requirements, and IP/MPLS needs into wavelength, channel, OTN, and transport capacity plans.
- Design and validate optical paths, protection schemes, diversity, regeneration requirements, ROADM/OADM usage (including CDC-F ROADM), transponder capacity, and power budget constraints.
- Strong in optical spectrum, such as ITU-T grids and Flex Grid as Super Channels.
