Description
Job Summary:The Field Application Engineer is responsible for driving adoption of the company’s products and services by influencing architects, engineers, and construction (AEC) firms at the design and specification stage. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to AEC stakeholders, working to embed the company’s solutions into project Basis of Design, specifications, and standard details, thereby creating commercial pull-through.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering required.• PE license preferred.• 10 years’ experience engaging with AEC firms or similar experience.• Direct experience producing or reviewing engineering designs.• Demonstrated understanding of how Basis of Design documents, drawings and specifications are created.• Demonstrated understanding of schematic designs, EOR responsibilities and how risk is evaluated and mitigated in desi...
