Field Engineer - Break Fix
Already working in Telecoms but looking to work for the client on a full fibre network, a role that will support you with a training pathway that will include external sector accredited courses on underground and overhead PIA, NRSWA, etc., as well as internal training on the Gigaclear network, fibre splicing and testing? A starting salary of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience and current qualifications / accreditations? This role would cover Cambridge, down M11 corridor to Bishops Stortford. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the Break Fix of the Gigaclear FTTH / FTTP network. Works will include traditional (civils / buried) and PIA underground and overhead. The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all works meet Gigaclear standards as well as compliance with NRSWA, SROH and the relevant build, break fix & fibre specifications.
