Job Description
B.E in Instrument/Electrical/Electronics and certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in field instrumentation inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
Knowledge of Instrument installation standards, Hook-up drawings and loop diagrams, P&IDs, basic calibration concepts. Familiar with field instrumentation (Pressure, temperature, flow, level instruments valves & positioners).
Inspect installation of field instruments as per approved drawings and specifications.
Witness and approve all the loop test in the field.
Check tubing, impulse lines, and mechanical installation quality.
Prepare daily inspection reports.
Witness and verify field calibration and loop checking of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
Review and approve calibration records, certificates, and reports to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
