Field Service Technician

Vapor Power International is seeking a full-time, Boiler Field Service & Start-up Technician. The position can be based in the regions of one of our plants. We are a manufacturer of premium quality Steam Generators and Thermal Fluid Heaters for facility, industrial, and marine processes.

We will train the right candidate who is already proficient in the troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical devices. The ideal candidate will have experience with and enjoy working with PLC and HMI devices, but will also be comfortable using hand tools, test meters, and a combustion analyzer to set the fuel/air ratio of fired burners. The candidate will currently or recently be working in the field at customer sites. Customer environments vary and include small and large boiler rooms, ship engine rooms, test labs, process plants, power plants, hospital boiler rooms, etc...
