ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £15.50/hour to £16.73/hour PAYE (depending on experience). This role requires onsite office visits every 6 weeks. 

 The Role:

Our client is looking for a Finance Operational Assistant to join the Governance & Operational Team within the Finance Directorate which has a focus on:
The management and control of all transactional processing (accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and payroll – including Doctors and Dentists in Training salaries and expenses

Production of the returns, annual accounts and other statutory returns

Managing the design, implementation and supervision of financial controls to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of systems and processes
