About Our Client
Our Toronto-based client is seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their team. This position is full-time in office.
Responsibilities
The Financial Accountant is responsible for, and not limited to:
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks across multiple entities, including journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE
- Prepare HST returns and support the in-house tax team
- Assist with audit preparation, working papers, and external accountant requests
- Contribute to management reporting, covenant monitoring, variance analysis, and budgeting
- Support treasury, funding, and reporting workflows tied to our lending and warehouse facility operations
