FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Accounting Diviison (610), Property Management (613) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will develop recommendations for improvements to processes and internal controls. You will provide guidance to management using knowledge of financial policies and procedures. You will evaluate financial auditing requirements and establishing/maintaining appropriate internal controls to meet auditing standards. You will reconcile property inventory against the APSR. You will generate standard reports regarding financial management documents. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
