Financial Specialist

Ottawa’s Protak Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an Intermediate level Financial Specialist for an ongoing project with the federal government. This is a contract opportunity which strictly requires candidates with an active Security Clearance from the Government of Canada.

Scope of Work

• Support financial analysis of initiatives
• Review cost estimates and funding assumptions
• Assist with financial planning
• Identify financial pressures, risks, and funding gaps across the portfolio.
• Provide financial input to planning discussions with divisions and management.
• Conduct monthly analysis of financial forecasts and spending trends.
• Monitor updates to financial information and identify outdated or incomplete records.
• Liaise with program owners and directors to validate financial information.
