**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
Performs any combination of following duties to assist in prevention of fires, extinguishing of incipient stage fires, contacting emergency help when necessary and other fire watch duties as needed.
+ Ensure that the fire watch permit is filled out properly and has all required signatures in place prior to work starting.
+ Contact emergency help as needed through the use of alarms, radio contact, telephone, etc.
+ Be able to direct employees and other personnel out of affected hot work areas.
