Job Summary
- Handle pipe removal onboard, templating, fitting and re-installation works.
- Carry out hotwork activities like grinding, gas cutting and drilling.
- Perform pressure testing of spools/systems when required.
- Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD.
- Responsible for accuracy of pipe fit-up, maintain proper edge preparation and root pass gap.
- Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
- Ensure personal safety and safety of others.
- Report any defects found on tools and equipment to foreman/supervisor.
- Always maintain good housekeeping and safety onboard vessel & workshop.
- 2 years of relevant working experience (preferably in Marine & Maritime industry).
- Good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of pipe fittings and pipe welding.
