Food Service Worker (Barista)

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Coffee kiosks located in the Langley Hospital on Langley Air Force Base, VA. This position is guaranteed 0 hours per week but can be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas. Responsibilities Operates off-site coffee operation. Prepares a limited variety of hot and cold beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, frappes, etc. by selecting proper, pre-measured ingredients. Prepares and serves simple hot and cold menu items such as soda, juice, prepackaged pastries, bagels and muffins, prepackaged breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. Receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to patrons.
