Secondary Food Technology Teacher 
Location:  Prestwich 
Start Date:  September 2026 
Contract:  Full-time | Permanent / Long-Term 
Salary:  £168-£232 per day (dependent on experience) 
Hours:  Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm 
Overview We are working with a well‑established and forward‑thinking secondary school seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department. The school prides itself on delivering a practical, engaging curriculum that equips students with valuable life skills, creativity, and an understanding of nutrition and food preparation. 
The Role You will teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to a wider Design & Technology curriculum. The role will involve both theoretical and practical teaching, ensuring students develop confidence in cooking, food safety, and healthy living.
