Overview

Visit, engage, and connect with a senior client. Break isolation with conversation, games, and listening. This role occurs in the client's home.

Location

In-Person – Scarborough, Ontario.

Schedule

Ongoing, start anytime as soon as possible.

About This Opportunity

Spend time with a matched senior client in person. This role focuses on breaking loneliness, discussing, playing cards or board games, and reading. Some clients need visitors to listen and ask questions, filling up time with a meaningful engagement. This is not therapeutic in nature but friendly and positive.

Volunteer Requirements

• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
• Willing to complete medical forms
• Vulnerable Sector Check
