Fruit Farm Worker

Job located in Winfield, BC (postal code V4V 1K7). Work must be completed on site at the orchard. The role is seasonal, full‑time with an hourly rate of $18.25, payable 80–156 hours bi‑weekly, with a minimum wage guarantee.

Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate and irrigate orchard crops.
• Train trees to produce higher quality fruit.
• Weed, fertilize, spray, and maintain crops.
• Harvest fruit.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience in fruit orchard work is an asset.
• Ability to distinguish between colours.
• Physically able to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods. <...
