Functional Safety Engineer

My client is one of the largest, independent contract ASIC design houses and producers in Europe, with over 500 ASIC developments brought into series production since 1978. They specialize in “mixed signal” ASICs, modules and microelectronic systems, particularly for sensors and actuators for the industrial, automotive, avionics and imaging markets.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Safety Engineer with expertise in ASIC design to lead and support safety-critical semiconductor development in compliance with IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 (automotive functional safety). This role will work cross-functionally with architecture, design, verification, validation and qualification teams to ensure safety is designed into our ASIC products from concept through production.
