General Builder

Paragon Resource Solutions is working in partnership with a North Essex based housing association to recruit a full‑time General Builder, especially a Plasterer‑Roofer, on the Repairs and Voids team covering the Braintree and Halstead areas. The role pays £23–24 per hour in CIS, is 37 hours per week Monday‑Friday, and includes a company vehicle or mileage allowance. It is initially a 3‑month temporary contract leading to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering and roofing repairs on social housing domestic properties.
• Assess and carry out accurate planned repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure work is undertaken in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Manage customer enquiries, responding professionally and coordinating with the scheduling teams.
