Setting: Clinic

Role: Suitably trained and experienced volunteers will perform surgical procedures, fulfilling a huge need for this work in the region where there are insufficient numbers of medical staff. Some tasks may include performing medical procedures and consultations as appropriate to the volunteer’s skills and training.

Time Commitment: 1-12 Weeks

When: Ongoing; Programs start every Sunday.

Application Deadline: Ongoing

Requirements: Education in a related field, provide a criminal background check, emergency contact, and resume.

Cost: Costs range from $791 CAD to $4,036 CAD. Volunteers are also responsible for their own airfare, travel insurance, spending money, and visas & permits where required.
