We are seeking an entry level geologist to join our Environmental Services Team in Irvine.
Under direct supervision, performs basic complexity geologic/ seismic evaluations/fault rupture hazard and slope stability investigations/ hydrogeologic analysis (aquifer test analysis; geochemical analysis; geotechnical analysis; contaminant transport analysis etc.) in both surface and subsurface geologic conditions pertaining to water supply, contaminant and/or geotechnical assessments. Activities may include well geologic logging, water sampling, surface geological mapping, aquifer testing and/or soils characterization and data compilation and evaluation. Prepares cross sections, Iso-concentration maps, and/or QA/QC analysis. Develops draft evaluations and calculations for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
