Job Description
Qualifications
The successful candidate will assist in the planning, setup and execution of geotechnical field investigations for transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct asphalt and concrete coring operations
- Observe and report geotechnical conditions from borehole drilling and assess subgrade conditions
- Observe and record site conditions, drainage patterns
- Support for laboratory and factual reporting teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Ongoing Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Degree
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate handheld drilling equipment and work safely in active roadway construction sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
