Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Geotechnical Lab Technologist for a new full-time role based out of our Winnipeg, MB office.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help conduct lab tests such as plasticity index, hydrometer, proctor, moisture content, CBR, LA abrasion loss, Micro-Deval, hydraulic conductivity, direct shear test, triaxial, etc.
- Conduct field related work, including coordination with subcontractors, conduct site visits, conduct geotechnical field investigations and monitoring of construction activities (grading, field compaction testing, instrumentation installation and monitoring).
- Complete inspection such as subgrade inspections, proof roll, pile inspections, etc. Prepare inspection reports.
