GP Clinic - Halls Creek

Conditions: The GP hospital based role provides everyday GP cover to walk in patients, liaising with the DMO’s and Nursing staff, this role is located in the Hospital. This is a Monday to Friday role only. Hours are 8am - 5pm. Halls Creek has a population of approximately 1,266 people and is 359km north east of Kununurra. The population fluctuates but on average is about 1,200 people. The current Halls Creek Hospital was opened in October 2005. It has eight acute beds; four boarder beds including one palliative care bed. There are 3 Emergency Medical Officers working from the hospital and 1 GP. They supply Primary Health Care, In Patient Care and an Accident and Emergency Service, so support is available 24/7.
