Graduate Geoscientist Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: collate, analyse, and load subsurface data, gaining an understanding of basic geological data requirements and data limitations prior to interpretation.
• Data Interpretation: review geological, geophysical, and petrophysical data and undertake basic analysis. Includes seismic surveys, core data, and well logs. Liaise with other departmental disciplines to reach a geologically appropriate model that best fits all available data.
• Geological Modelling: learn how to build, update, and evaluate theoretical and geocellular 2D/3D geological models. Estimate deterministic and probabilistic in-place volumes using appropriate industry-standard software.
• Consulting Project Content Development: develop, collaborate and contribute materials to client deliverables, e.g., slide decks for standardized presentations and client reports.
