SUMMARY
The role of the Graphite Machinist is to carry out the responsibilities of the Graphite Machine Operations division at the direction of the Graphite Machine Manager. The Graphite Machine Operations group is responsible for the delivery of quality product, within specifications and tolerances of the customer requirements, in a timely and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely manufacture graphite electrodes.
- Optimize the use of graphite and graphite remnant inventory to minimize product waste.
- Assist co-workers when necessary.
- Properly record time in order to predictably manage cost and time.
- Accurately post material and time to a given job.
- Meet or improve upon quoted machine operations times.
