Rose is 14 years old and the heart of a loving and supportive family; Mum, Dad, and younger brother (9). Rose is an engaging, sweet, and happy young lady with a love for music, arts and crafts, cooking, listening to stories and loud engaging activities. Rose sustained a brain injury at birth and as a result, is fully dependent on 2:1 support around the clock. Rose has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, a tracheostomy, requires suctioning, a GJ tube (medication, nutrition, and fluid), and a visual impairment. Rose uses her eyes to communicate and can make her likes and dislikes known. Rose has a complex care team in place providing round-the-clock support, is home-schooled and her house is fully adapted to meet all her needs.
