Handyman

Overview

Carpenter — The Carpenter will perform restorative and responsive upkeep as well as handyman services. This includes refurbishments, PPMs and reactive work. The Carpenter is also expected to maintain records of all work completed and accomplish risk analyses prior to each assigned job.

Responsibilities

• Woodwork, able to produce smooth finished items, using various joining techniques.
• Plaster work and mounting or repairing access panels.
• Repairing/replacement of furniture, doors, windows, locks, etc.
• Repair/replacement of aluminum doors, windows, etc.
• Wood varnishing and polishing.
• Furniture assembly.
• Responding to reactive call-out demands.
• Ensure quality of finishing.
• Complete all associated documentation.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of woodworking methods and materials; functional experience is crucial.
