Head of Airfreight

Key Activities

• Formulate airfreight operations strategy in line with country business strategy and requirements, global guidelines and policies.
• Lead planning and implementation of airfreight operations plans, measures and budgets to achieve operational results driving profitability, volume growth and service expansion.
• Develop plans, organize and control large country projects and initiatives to provide fast, reliable, efficient and affordable airfreight operations solutions.
• Lead effective airfreight operations management through end-to-end capacity management, optimization of network procurement, implementation of consolidation opportunities, etc.
• Oversee and take decisions for operation sites, procurement of capacity, technical support (buying, capacity, etc.) and local purchasing in country according to global policy.
• Monitor and act on preferred carrier usage and related incentive deals in the country.
