Job Description
Urban Life Solutions and City Wide Towing are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to ensure our 350 team members go home safe every day. You will be responsible for overall management and leadership of H&S programs in Western Canada and achieving targeted business outputs and improvement levels.
Direct Reports: 3
Responsibilities:
Create and implement workplace health and safety plans, training programs and procedures
Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines
Monitor employee and equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
Investigate incidents to find cause and take prevention measures for further incidents
Handle worker’s compensation claims and liaison with WCB
Recommend solutions, improvements, and prevention steps for safety issues
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics
