Job Title
The post-holder is a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) within the practice, supporting nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of clinical and administrative services.
Working hours: 7 hours per week (8.30‑12.00 Thursday and Monday/Friday, flexible if suitable).
Main Duties
The main focus of the role will be venipuncture, blood pressure measurement and performing health checks. The HCSW will work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and the wider team to improve patient outcomes and support continuity of care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Consult with patients and families to undertake assessments of patient need.
- Deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, long‑term condition management and patient education.
