CONTRACT # CONTRACT NAME DESCRIPTION Deep Brain Stimulation Therapy Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is a surgical procedure used to manage several disabling neurological symptoms, most commonly motor symptoms. Electrical stimulation is used to block abnormal nerve signals in targeted areas of the brain that control movement. Electrodes placed in the brain are connected to a pulse generator implanted under the skin in the chest area.
