About the Role:
Aurizon is looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Murrin Murrin Operations in WA on a 2 & 1 Roster flying out of Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Aurizon’s mobile plant assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will work within a structured maintenance program, responding to planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding Aurizon’s commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance on port mobile plant and infrastructure
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical/Electrical faults and breakdowns
- Conducting and adhering to risk assessments and WH&S procedures
- Scoping maintenance work and working with planners to prioritise tasks
