Overview
Heavy Equipment Technician working in a hydralift shop, responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mobile cranes and heavy equipment. Focus on hydraulic systems, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and compliant operation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install hydraulic cranes per drawings and specifications
- Install and service hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders)
- Mount and align cranes on truck chassis
- Perform mechanical fitting of booms, outriggers, and structures
- Test and commission equipment to ensure performance and compliance
- Troubleshoot and repair cranes, heavy equipment, and trucks
