SMS Equipment is seeking Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. In this field service role, you’ll perform on-site repairs and equipment builds for construction machinery while operating from a service truck. If you’re a strong troubleshooter who enjoys diagnosing issues and supporting customers in the field, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work with an industry leader.

Base Wage: $47.41 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with overtime and travel


What You’ll Do

  • Performing assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs and complete overhauls on heavy equipment.

  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.

  • Make recommendations regarding extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.
