You will be part of the Logistics Delivery team operating a fleet of potable water tankers to support reactive and planned work. You will handle the acquisition of water samples before loading and discharging them into hydrants or reservoirs.
Responsibilities
- Drive HGV 1 and HGV 2 vehicles with manual and automatic gearboxes.
- Drive support vehicles such as welfare vans.
- Follow processes and procedures for water delivery.
- Collect water samples prior to loading and discharge.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver.
- Happy working on a rotational shift pattern, including days and nights.
- No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
- A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
- Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
