HGV Class 2 Driver – Home Delivery
Location: Trafford Park
Pay: £16.75 per hour / £41,808 per annum on a 48-hour week. Salary includes up to £750 quarterly bonus. OT is paid on a 6th shift only.
Temp to perm. Newly qualified drivers accepted.
Responsibilities
- Home delivery of kitchens – a physically demanding role.
- Work as a 2‑man crew.
- Make customer phone calls with ETA and record deliveries.
- Deliveries must be made within the time window and to the customer's room of choice.
- All products must be scanned.
- Any parking issues at delivery must be reported to delivery support or the transport office; recorded issues absolve the driver from ticket liability.
- Act within vehicle surveillance (7 cameras: 5 around, 2 in back).
- Vehicles are loaded overnight; you will unload at the delivery point.
- Maintain good timekeeping.
