HGV Technician

Salary: £42,601 plus Veolia benefits.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 5:30am - 2pm.

Location: Moat Lane, Solihull, B91 2LW.

Sign‑on and retention bonus: £3,000.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all RCVs, waste management and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults within a well‑equipped workshop.
• Ensure all vehicles are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
• Liaise with the Workshop manager to obtain correct parts.
• Maintain health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Complete all job cards and service sheets promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Keep current product knowledge and attend training courses.
