HGV Technician – Joining Bonus £1,500 Location: Biffa Waste – St Helens Depot 
Salary: £20.59 p/h + Shift Allowance + £10 per week Tool Allowance 
Shift patterns:
Monday‑Friday Early 05:00‑14:00
Monday‑Thursday Late 13:00‑22:00, Friday 11:00‑20:00
Overtime & Call Out Available
Monday‑Friday (45 hours) 
Responsibilities You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. 
You will also carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments. Our fleet ranges from light commercial vans all the way up to 44t articulated specialist assets, a diverse fleet giving plenty of opportunity to learn and develop your technical knowledge.
