HGV Workshop Manager – Lambeth

Salary: up to £54,000

Hours: 40 hours per week | 6:00am – 2:30pm (some flexibility on start times)

Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Workshop Manager to lead a busy fleet workshop in Lambeth. This is an off-the-tools managerial role overseeing a skilled team of 9, including 3 supervisors, technicians, and an apprentice. The workshop is well-equipped with 3 service bays with lifts, a smaller bay, and a brake tester, servicing a fleet of RCVs, sweepers, cage vehicles, and gritters

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the workshop team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to standard
• Hold team members accountable and maintain a strong presence in the workshop
• Monitor spend, overtime, and third-party costs
