High School Principal

Principal – Nottingham High School (Grades 9-12)

Qualifications

• NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE)


• Administrative Experience required;


• Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience;


• Knowledge/experience with best practices in high school education (particularly with large enrollment);


• Understanding of the role/importance of extra-curricular and athletics within a high school setting;


• Knowledge/experience with creating and sustaining positive community relations with diverse stakeholders;


• Knowledge/experience with master scheduling; state assessments, and school-level budgeting/purchasing;


• Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process (ie: Danielson);


• Understanding of high school graduation requirements;


• Willingness to work collaboratively with guidance and special education;
