Responsibilities
+ Accession tissue specimens accurately and ensure proper identification and labeling throughout all stages of processing.
+ Receive and prepare tissue specimens in accordance with established laboratory protocols and regulatory standards.
+ Perform grossing and inking of tissue specimens when qualified under applicable CLIA requirements.
+ Prepare media, chemicals, reagents, and solutions according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
