Home Care Nurse

Overview

Aid individuals who have trouble doing basic day-to-day tasks for an elderly client. This is a full-time caregiver role focused on personal care and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance to an elderly client.
• Carry out medication administration as prescribed or provide reminders in accordance with care plans.
• Monitor health status and report any changes to the supervisor or appropriate healthcare professional.
• Support activities of daily living and mobility; assist with routines and household tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Nursing or caregiver experience; 1 year preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain safety and dignity of the client.
