HSE Advisor (Newport | Data Centre Project | 3‑Month Contract)
We are looking for an HSE Advisor to support a live data centre project in Newport on an initial 3‑month contract. This role is suited to an individual with strong site‑based health and safety experience across construction, MEP, electrical, mechanical, industrial, infrastructure, or data centre projects. You do not need to have spent your entire career in data centres, but you must be confident working in a live site environment with contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out site inspections and audits
- Reviewing RAMS and supporting safe systems of work
- Supporting inductions and toolbox talks
- Monitoring subcontractor activity on site
- Supporting permits and general site safety documentation
- Reporting and escalating HSE issues where required
- Supporting incident reporting and investigation where needed
