Role Summary
The iPAL Counselor plays a key role in supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral development, especially for those within the iPAL Academy.
They work with students ensuring that each child's social‐emotional well‐being is supported alongside academic growth.
The iPAL Counselor implements Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Annual Support Plans with a focus on social and emotional goals, collaborates with parents and teachers, and contributes to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
The iPAL Counselor may also serve as an iPAL Mentor, acting as the primary point of contact for families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one‐on‐one and small group counseling to support students' social and emotional well‐being.
Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution sessions.
