Ingredient Development

Role PurposeCreate value through food science know-how in ingredients and additives, building optimization strategies in raw materials to increase margins, optimize usage, diversify sourcing, deal with contingencies, generate and share best practices across all OUs.Key Responsibilities- Deep understanding of ingredients/additives functionality and critical performance parameters across categories to optimize different usage in formulations and processes, in alignment with company strategic guidelines.
- Develop and implement methods that are effective and efficient for the evaluation of functional ingredients that is replicable in the business units, ensuring materials quality and functionality.
- Identify, define, develop, and coordinate with BUs projects related to GSO (Global Sourcing Organization) to reduce variable cost (i.E. local ingredient projects, global tenders).
