Basic wallcoverings measurement and calculations Mixing of adhesive Stripping of wallcovering Plastering of walls Wallcovering Installation Brief installers on job specifications Assist site supervise to monitor & supervise installers on site To resolve site problems with installers To inspect job site upon completion of work JOB DESCRIPTION OF CARPET INSTALLER Install carpet rolls with proper stretching, trimming, and fixing to ensure smooth, wrinkle-free finish. Good knowledge of adhesives, underlays, and installation techniques for roll carpet. Competent in using carpet tools (cutters, welding gun, rollers, stretchers, seam irons, etc). Perform basic carpet measurement and calculations for accurate fitting. Prepare work surfaces by sweeping and cleaning floors before adhesive application. Remove and strip old carpets when required.
