Part‑time Sociology Instructor – Suncrest College (YORKTON, SK)
Position Overview
Teach Foundations of Sociology (SOCI 160) and Cultural and Indigenous Awareness in Health Care (SOCI 101) to students in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant and Medical Laboratory Assistant programs. The term is from September 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 (236 contract hours) and can be based in either Melfort or Yorkton depending on the selected candidate.
Employment Terms
Contract – 236 hours (September 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027).
Responsibilities
- Deliver course instruction, including lectures, discussions, and assessments.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Sociology or equivalent.
- At least two years of recent or relevant experience in teaching or industry within the last five years.
- Must satisfy Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
