Job Overview
Intermediate Financial Analyst – Segregated Funds' Financial Management (SFFM) team within Group Retirement Services Finance. This role is based in Waterloo and reports to the Accounting and Controls team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and sign‑off on monthly reconciliations to support account balance sign‑off and internal control environment.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory compliance reports.
- Provide consultative support to the SFFM Operations Team on accounting models and reconciling items.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to plan audits and coordinate supporting documentation.
- Lead year‑end tax processing in coordination with GRS Tax and SFFM Operations.
- Contribute to audited financial statements for the Segregated Funds Annual Report.
- Identify control environment deficiencies and implement process improvements.
